Many of our returning anglers have previously enjoyed our Bear Viewing or Sockeye Salmon Fishing trips and would like a new fly out experience. We offer just the ticket with our late summer expeditions to the west side of Cook Inlet when the silver salmon (coho) begin running up several of our favorite streams. We begin from our floatplane base in Soldotna and 30 minutes later we are setting down and transferring you to one of the guide's boats for a trip downriver to the fishing holes. Your professional guide provides all the fishing gear needed for the trip.

Crescent Lake Fishing Trip
One of Talon Air's newest fly-in fishing trips opens up guided silver fishing on the Crescent River in beautiful Lake Clark National Park and Preserve where unspoiled wilderness Alaska is just a 40 minute flight from our location. As one of America's newest national parks it is the least visited which attests to its nearly untouched beauty. And during the summer this lake and river system support an exceptional sport fishery. Lake trout and Dolly Varden inhabit the lake while silver salmon are abundant from mid-summer through fall. The sockeye salmon run into Crescent Lake averages 80,000 fish each July and the silver salmon run is non-stop from mid-August through September. Both species allow for a three fish limit for the angler to return with more than just memories of the experience. Your professional guide will provide all the fishing gear needed for the trip.
